People who need and want currants for supplying Glitchwidth are encouraged to supply $FancyDrink (highest priced items offered on Pub Floor):
1 full stack $FancyDrink (24) = 1800 c
2 full stacks $FancyDrink (48) = 3600 c
3 full stacks $FancyDrink (72) = 5400 c
For comparison:
1 full stack hooch (24) = 240 c
2 full stacks hooch (48) = 480 c
3 full stacks hooch (72) = 720 c
4 full stacks hooch (96) = 960 c
5 full stacks hooch (120) = 1200 c
1 full stack Awesome Stew (12) = 600 c
1 full stack Rich Tangine Stew (12) = 480 c
etc.
(Note that those supplying food who opt for alternative repayment will often get a combination of items whose cumulative Encylopedia currant worth exceeds what they would have gotten for straight currants. Pricing for $FancyFood may change in the future after public discussion/agreement on

Date: 2012-11-10 06:38 pm (UTC)The "mining sparkly" feat was a bust. Low-level players *can* mine, but it's slow and not-fun for them. The "say hi to people" feat was a win; *everyone* can say Hi. Quests were troublesome... everyone can do a few quests, but low-level players didn't have enough resources to do many.
While high-level players get much more efficient at some things (harvesting is just spooky fast), some things don't get much easier (I can make larger batches of food at a time, but most of them cost the same energy), and some things just need willing people to be involved. There's badges for PMing people, and some of us feel creepy going up to complete strangers and PMing them with "Hi! I'm doing this to get a badge!" (I received one of those. It was weird.)
And there's projects to fix in back yards, where we'd like some level of security because that involves letting people into your house.
