Likely No Resupply Tonight

Alas, Glitch went into a continuous crash cycle for me right after I heard that the third floor of Glitchwidth was completed today, so it is likely I won't get on to resupply the pub floor tonight. This does, however, give you all more time to add your two cents re: what this floor should become at the poll earlier this week. What cool things have you seen in other towers that would be neat to replicate in Glitchwidth?

General things that appeal to me (but that I suspect are not yet available functionalities in-game/in towers or are likely too expensive to supply regularly) would include framed snapshots on the wall from various Dreamwidth group members doing neat things, maps or teleportation scripts to far-off lands, a community noticeboard for people to leave notes on, talking figures that can be interacted with like Dreamwidth IRC channel bots (even just a yes/no/maybe bot of some kind would be interesting), a greenhouse floor, a clothing boutique, etc. etc.

Thoughts? Start by taking the poll. :o)

I like the framed snapshot idea! It would be like an art gallery! But I have no idea if that is possible to do.

Two thoughts:

1. I could supply some teleportation scripts. I think all teleportation scripts might even fit in one display case, so you might even set a nominal fee for a random script?

2. Noticeboards are hard, but you can do something similar with lots of note poles, and it might make quite a fun look for a room...

I have barely looked at towers (mostly they intimidate me) so I have no idea what nifty things could be done.

Can you put Gnomes inside a tower? I think that's as close as you get to interactive talky-ness.

Noticeboard yes yes. I have no idea if these can be made/installed, but at the very least, we could have a table or something declared "the notes place." Have to decide if we want to allow/encourage spoilers-and-helps on them. (Do we want spoilers/helps here at DW? Feat announcements and things like that?)

ETA: I am "Eris Lord Freedom" at Glitch. I am most assuredly *not* "elf," who is a dick.

Among other details--everything not nailed down or in SDBs should be listed somewhere, in case of Random Asshole wandering through and stripping the place bare. And a table/shelf/something should be labeled "donation bin," for those who'd like to drop a few things off and aren't sure how/where.

I can't do t'port scripts yet, but in another week-and-a-bit, I'll be able to. Unless I decide to get all crazy with the Lem donations and keep spending them to learn faster.

(This might be OT for this post, but....)

I have no idea if you need resupplies of hooch and all-spice, but I dropped off a bag with your butler just now. (I could sign on as a occasional supplier of those two, if that would be useful? I don't have the skills to supply any of the items on sale in the pub, so I hope I can contribute in this way.)

Please consider my contributions as donations (I also gave karelia some materials for the construction of the 3th floor), so no need for compensation, but I'd love it if you could drop the bag off with my butler.
